My Aunt ran off the Gretna green to marry her husband when she was 16 and he was 40 (with 4 kids) They are still together now however they have had the following issues in their relationship.
His kids hated her growing up as they were all the same age.
She cheated on him a few times when she felt he treated her like a child.
Their two children (now grown up) misbehave as they are both terrible at disciplining them (Uncle feels too old, and my aunt is too scared to do it on her own)
It can work out in the end but like any relationships it will not be easy, Maybe you should try thinking best case scenario and worst case scenario and consider if you would be happy to live and take those risks.

It might be ok at first but just think, when you are 35 - still young, the 50 year old will be 65.
Will you have the same ideas about things.
When you want to go clubbing they may want to go to the pub.
What about if you have children in 10 years time?? Will the older partner be there for their children. If you want children and the older partner doesnt??
Sorry for the cynicism, but I think long term its a bad idea.

It is not only possible, but it may become a love of a lifetime. I, personally, am currently experiencing it. I am 23 and my man is 60, He is everything to me, and I am his only reason to live. He is crrazy about me EMOTIONALLY, and not only about sex. He cries in the beauty of our love. So do I, we are both losing our minds about each other. We feel like we are soulmates...I would never ever go for another man again.
The only real problem is the fact that he will have to pass away pretty soon, and this is killing me. Better not have this happen if you can sitll choose.
But a man like this DOES know how to love a woman. honestly. You just need to find the right one.

Yea, age is just a number. What ever makes you happy but he will always be older than you and not everyone you meet will agree with it. You may take some stick off some people but what the hell. Its your life, do what you like with it. My girlfriend is older than me but only by 8 months.

Tricky one. We can learn a lot from an older person, they have relaxed into life and are more experienced, so may be funny and wry and generally good company. Now ask yourself what they may seek in return...

However, once they kicked me out we got on like a house on fire for the following 9 years.
So yes.....

Age does not matter.Love can happen at any age.So there is nothing to worry to have a relation.Mutual understanding is more important than age.Must b able 2 adjust with ur partner.understand his/her shortcomings and adjust.Goodluck.
