I believe you, maybe you should try to hone this thing by practising and learn how to control it, think of it as a gift not something to be worried about, this maybe totally irrelevant, but i remember seeing a programme once with an experiment where people were subjected to Radio frequency's and at the same frequency each time they were affected in various ways, the people never knew what frequency was being transmitted and each person seemed to be affected by differ ant frequency, but the results were consist ant, the point is maybe some people have a more sensitive/powerful Aura than others!!, don't start concentrating on Planes crashing....

My mum has something similar happen to her. When she takes photos, she has all these balls appear on them, like orbes. We did an experiment. We bought 2 identical disposable cameras from the same place. I took photos of things in her house. She took photos of the same things. We took them to be developed at the same place. My film came back fine. My mums was full of orbes. She also makes things happen like bulbs can just suddenly go and need to be replaced when she walks into a room even if they are new. I think this has something to do with her and my mum and I both feel that she maybe has a psychic ability and her mind is more open than the rest of us so she can tune into things that others can't. Maybe you have a gift. Don't be afraid of it. Sit alone and just gently breath in and out and clear your mind of everything. Then try and tune in and after a few attempts, you may be able to tune into your spirit guide. We all have these, just some of us are not luckily enough to tune into them. This might sound a load of rubbish but I often call on my spirit (or gaurdian angel) when in need and I have NEVER been let down. Hope it all goes well for you.

Hi,
I was an engineer and believe me I have had many amazing experiences with electronics switching on and off, sometimes without scientific explanation.
Maybe not as dramatic as yours though which I find fascinating.
It would be easy to make jokes, but I hope my answer helps in some way. It would seem from your writing that you are having a negative effect on the current, almost willing this to happen, I believe you are open to a negative power source that prefers you to be in darkness, a bit like a power that is haunting/taunting you.
What you need is a supernatural power within you, nothing ventured nothing gained, this may sound crazy..but try talking to each lampost as you approach it!!!
Try saying the name of Jesus Christ aloud without using it as a blasphemy..I'm sure you are able to do that..then see whether or not that light goes out..it may grow brighter but it won't go out.
Always walk on the bright side of life.da dum da dum.

Hi,Frog dude,
What a bizarre coincidence- last week when shopping with my good lady,a light went out when she passed under it,then came back on a few seconds later. We thought nothing of it until it did it again on the return trip. Since she was a couple of paces in front of me,she assumes it's her doing it.
I know that the human body has some biological capacity for electrical behaviour (muscle operation, nerve transmissions, brain alpha waves etc.) but as to how strong an aura can be,who knows?
I can't believe its her alpha waves, because she's got the I.Q of an amoeba.
One for the twilight zone,methinks.
Dont' worry, unless it affects aircraft or car systems.

Out of curiousity, accepting at face value that you aren't making it up, or crazy, the human body runs off electrical impulse.
It may sound bizzare, but it wouldn't suprise me to know it was true.
Your heart beat for example is paced by an electrical pulse at several thousand volts.
I dont see why you'd be worried about it.
I think I would always find it kinda cool.
Escpecially when freaking the kids out.

Strange hey. Must scare the living daylights out of you. Quite freaky. Must be quite scary and i hope it is not in a dangerous area. It would really scare me, maybe you have some kind of powers, something like Yuri. Try bending a spoon or something. Must be quite handy when you are walking with a chick or your wife, can catch a quick kiss and nobody will see you:))))

There is a movie, which stars Jack Palance, and Martin Landau, made a very long time ago, called, "Alone in the dark" about three deranged criminally insane men, who get out of the hospital due to a storm, that shorts out all of the electricity..one of my favorite lines, is when Jack Palance, sits up in his bed, upon losing all of the electricity, and exclaims, "I made the lights go out".....LOL...go see the movie darling, it is worth it

I have never heard of things like this happening. I know we all have some kind of electrical current (nerves and brain etc) but I doubt the force is so big that you can actually switch off street lamps!! There must be another explanation.
