Why does he anyway? Can there be hatred without hate or cause? Where does it say why in the bible? Does Satan envy God for his eternal almighty power? Is that the cause of his hatred? Or did God just make him as an angel of hatred to assure the variety of life?

I am sorry Faith Walker, that you think you are better and smarter and wiser, only because you appear to read the bible more than others. You are putting yourself above others. I am sorry you are going the upper route of the biblefish.

Faith Walker for your own sake: If you read the bible so much, you should know about the passage where god says, not to worry about the ones that try to impress through their intellect, for he is gonna get them by the same!

He is so proud and filled with his own bad doings...he is not able to repent because of the pride that's in him. There was an old Parent that wanted to pray for him to repent but God showed him that he will be bad until the end...he will not repent.
Don't forget GOD IS LOVE, HE wants us all to be happy, really happy!
The most important thing in a Christian life is modesty...from here starting you can have a Christian life, a REAL ONE.

I think it originates from the law of free will. Human beings and angels are among the creations that have free will. In Genesis, the bible says some of the angels fell in love with human beings and came down to live with them. They gave birth to giants. Drawing upon the scripture, we can draw a conclusion that even angels can turn bad too.
In the movie about the "Spear of Destiny" (spear that a soldier pieced Jesus on the cross after he died), the angels envy human beings because God loves human so much that Jesus came down for them. No matter what they did, as long as they believe in the Son of God and change, their sin will be forgiven. This is not the case for the angels (according to the movie and I personally think so).
After the angels came down to live with human beings, they started to create monsters and taught human of witchcraft and magic. After a while, God sent a legion of armies after them, and thus the war began. The devil (by then they became devil by title) lost the battle and took shelter among men. The bible said God let them stay on earth for a while until the judgment day comes.
If anybody else has any further insights or corrections, please add.

Satan was created an angel. He chose to be prideful and thought he could be equal with his creator and wanted to take his place as ruler and even convinced a great amount of angels that he could. But God said NO WAY and threw him and his ungrateful rebelious followers out of heaven into the earth. This is found in Genesis. God is angry that he created all beings and some rebelled and choose to this day to not accept that he is their father because of satan and his followers who spread lies and hide the truth that God loves every creature he created and wants to be in relationship and give them their inheritance of eternal life in paradise. Satan and his followers are out to kill, steal and destroy because they are jelous that we still can choose to be with God in heaven and they can't.They made their choice, a bad one, and want us to also so satan can thumb his nose at God some more and steal his children from him.Only a fool says that there is no God. Choose God. Choose Life.

The reason is because Satan, or Lucifer as he was known was cast from the presence of God following the War in Heaven. The worst possible punishment God can bestow is to cut off someone from His Glory.

devil replaced into as quickly as an arch perspective, the main appealing of all angles. yet he envied God, He theory he replaced into greater effective than God, He wanted to be greater effective that God. This brought about an incredible conflict in Heaven and God solid devil out of Heaven alongside with a million/3 of the angles. Why does devil hate God. possibly by way of fact he's no longer God. God hates sin and that i will permit you recognize is devil's doing.

OHHHHHHHHh, another I dont read the bible much. Person
Satan fell from the 3rd heaven, like lighting, on fire, and hit the earth, God kicked him out of heaven because he caused one third of the Angles to bow to him and worship him.
God gave him Earth to rule over, And then there is you.
Now do you see why Satan hates God so much, you?
IF you fell from the 3rd, heaven on fire going to Hells waiting place called Earth, and had power to rule Earth, Satan respects God. Cause now there is you he can play with.

Yeah, he does. Satan wanted to be God. He wanted God's power and position.
but Lucifer was just the highest angel. So God kicked him out (well, Revelation says God waged war on him and threw him out) of Heaven.
Yup, so now, since he's no longer God's favorite creation (we are now), he seeks to destroy us with sin. all the things you see, safe sex, drugs, the lot.
Just watch out man, pray to God for salvation. Look for a church where you can grow, God bless!

Because there is no such thing as Satan.
Assuming that Satan exists, it means that there are two major powers in the world - God and Satan. And if there are two, it means that none of them is totally supreme. Which makes God perishable. Which is crap.
Besides, if God is the creator of the entire Universe, then He wouldn't create Satan. So if Satan exists, God didn't create the universe.
Understand - Satan is just a concept to make you understand that there are temptations and you may succumb to them.
Satan is just the lack of God. When you are not devoted to God, then you tend to get mislead in life, do all the wrong things and make all wrong decisions, which ultimately make your life miserable. Thats all.

What makes you think Satan hates God? They often work together and in agreement what about the time they made the wager. God let Satan have one of his servants to do with as he pleased. It was Brother Lot. Remember how Satan treated poor Lot while God stood by in amusement. You see how they hate each other if you read the story. Hisszzzzzzzzzzzzz
