The most spiritual thing I have ever experienced, was when my husband recieved Christ as his Savior.
He is 6' 5" tall and a BIG man, not fat, just huge.
He was doing cocaine, crystal meth, and acid, as well as other hard drugs.
He wanted to stop, but he was addicted.
We went to a church in Texas called Calvary Temple Church.
We sat down, and when the alter call was given?
A little man with a long beard walked straight up to us and told my husband he knew he needed deliverance from, and he said all the things my husband was addicted to.
He told my husband that God wanted to deliver him that night.
My hubby would not go up front to the prayer line without me, he took me by the hand and we went up front together.
The most spiritual thing was when another man walked up to pray for my husband. He simply pointed at my hubby and he simply fell down.
I could feel something like electricity in my his hand going into mine and I felt warm all over!
My hubby has not done ANY drug since!

Thanks for asking this question. I have alot! too many to say,but I would like to write about one of them.In 1991, I took a vacation to the beach, it was around the 4th of July. I lived there for 4 years and wanted to go back to visit. I met up with friends & partied all day, anyway we closed down the bar, decided to go back to the beach. I was the first one to get there. NO ONE but me was on the beach.I started walking & talking to GOD,telling him about all the wonderful things he had created.I said I wish I had a flashlight so I could see all of the beautiful seashells (this is @ 3:00 am) I walked about 10 steps and saw something in the sand.It was a hole about a foot deep and inside of it was a flashlight pointing upwards and turned on!I thanked him for the gift.I still have it! So yes, GOD answers prayers.A warrior for Christ

I used to be drug addicted too, I was doing ice, acid, ecstasy, marijuana. I've quit from it at november 1997 almost ten years from now.

I wasn't only a costumer but also a drug dealer. Being a heavy addicted I often got overdose that time. But there was a time when I was getting overdose I heard someone (now I know that was Jesus) calling my name and asked ".. for how long you wanna be like this?"

Without God help, I wouldn't be today breathing the fresh air since from the year 1998 until 2000 I was so sick that I knew I gonna die (aware what I've done was so evil).

God was give me a second chance to me to lived for helping people whose suffer from drugs like me, whose need help.

Thank You Father.

I was very bitter at everyone and everything. I lamented over the fact that I had never known unconditional love. So out of spite, just to see what the experience was about, I decided to volunteer at a shelter to know what the big deal is. I left with so much more that I came with. Giving unconditionally changed my perception. I really saw my fellow humans as my equal. We were one that day. I really felt my oneness with these homeless people and saw that we are all equal in the spirit's/God's eyes.

#1 When I was in the third grade, I was waiting outside afterschool for my mom to pick my sister and I up. I heard many sirens in the distance and went inside to ask my teacher to call my dad because my mom was in an accident and could not come. They ignored my request and sent me back outside to wait. A few minutes later, my dad pulled up. My mom had been hit by a drunk driver far across town. He had been listening to a police scanner and recognized the description of the car involved in the accident. The EMS people who helped my mother said that she kept repeating over and over in the ambulance, "someone call my husband and tell him to pick the kids up from school."

#2 After my dear friend (and former boss) was killed in a fire, I dreamed that I visited his family at his new office (where I had never been). I almost didn't recognize his daughter (whom I had not seen in about 15 years) because she had a very unusual (and unflattering) haircut. In the dream, I saw my friend standing right there amidst his loved ones, and I exclaimed how great it was to see that he was ok. His family was very angry with me for saying that. He told me that I was the only one who could see him. The next day, in real life, I really went to the office to see his family. The office was very similar, and the daughter had the exact same haircut as she had in my dream. I did not SEE my friend standing there, but I definitely felt his presence in the room. It was comforting (not scary), but I did not tell any of them about it, or about my dream.

#3 I dreamed that my best friend's sister came to my house (where she had never been) and asked me to look out for him. I agreed, and then woke up because the phone ringing. He was calling to ask for a ride to the bus station because his sister had just died of a fatal asthma attack.

God is 'awesome',isn't He. And some believe that He doesn't do miracles anymore! It's wonderful to see the Holy Spirit having His way!

I guess mine was when i was an active band member. We'd play all over the country and i'd be so proud that i guess i was looking down on everyone.

But God broke me, and said that without Him, i was nothing. Without the skills he gave me for music, i'm noone.

It really humbled me, and now, we're recording to release our EP! :) hahaha riding the christian life is an awesome wave to ride, and it just keeps getting better!

Praise God for your husband! God is just so awesome! maybe i should get my brother to come to church too.. hehe

What a wonderful testimony! God has healed my grandboy from a herniated brainstem after a respiratory arrest. The doctors gave no hope but God can do His greatest work...He is so wonderful!
