i think so, its pretty scary, just like you were born alone. Thats why people invent God and angels so they won't die alone

How do you define alone??
I would imagine a parade of my passed on loved ones waiting to greet me on the other side.
If you dont believe in such things then yes I guess you die alone and gone as if you never existed
