Advice please: French lessons?

Hello, I am a French girl and I live in North of London.
I'd like to give French lessons in my aerea.
Where could I put adverts so as to people look at them?

havent got a clue im an english girl who stugles with french its really difficult to learn. but if you go to your local shop and put an advert up its only a small fee and usually works really well or go to your local school and advertise to peoples parents should work good luck

May I warn you that you have to be very careful in the wording of your advertisements. En Angleterre les filles de joie s’offrent pour des “cours de français”, donc il faut faire bien attention pour souligner qu’il s’agit de cours bien sérieux!

I would suggest the local library, which probably has a notice board, and also, possibly, the noticeboard at the local supermarket.

Ask at the French speaking embassies in London if you can put up messges. I work in the Belgian Embassy and there are signs up here all the time.

If you are friendly with the owners of small shops, you might try there. Be careful to state that it really is for French classes...put on something about "grammar and conversation", preparation for exams, etc.

I agree with the above posters. Also, you might want to try posting at or near local schools.
That said, I prefer to warn you that I live in Paris and am not that familiar with London and its habits, but as a parent, I'm more aware of signs of that nature near my kids' school.
