The reason is because a) Islamic fundamentalists attacked us on 9/11 b) The Muslim population has largely enabled or at least ignored these people allowing them to have the power. c) If they want us to relax. THEY need to step up and condemn and help us to stop the extremists. After all we Christians. Try and stop (within the limits of the law) extremists in our religion. If some Christian extremist group flew four huge aircraft into a Muslim country and blew up thousands of people in the name of Christianity, we would be the first to find that group and kill or arrest every member of that group! Timothy McVey comes to mind!

I think it has something to do with the fact that, as we speak, there are about 20 violent conflicts involving Muslims and their neighbors throughout the world, and almost all of them started with Muslims slaughtering non-Muslims wholesale.
The only one that I can think of that was NOT started by the Muslims was our invasion of Iraq. It seems at least one group of nations has had enough.

U shud not judge a religion with its followers!! There r many muslims who dont follow the whole Islam, they practice a little n the rest they do by their own thoughts. So if u really wanna know the religion u shud study it by its books n sites.

their ideology of intolerance like they are the only right religion on the earth and the rest are infidels, their blooody history ,their hate towards west countrys , usa ,israel,,their religious fanatism ( mohamed cartoons ,remember ?) their bombings all across the world ,their primitive laws like stoning cutting hands ,their honour killings, their propaganda , the hate speech of their imams etc etc .....

well they blow up pple they kill across racial age and all lines they r bloodthirst killing is like a walk in the park for them and the selfrighteousness is 2nd to none women r as livestock and did i say the swords they beleive in war and they fuelled the slave trade i mean the law of supply and demand in modern day they still pracise slavery they r he biggest racists visit sudan they kill black moslems there i cant even begin to express the magnitude of bloodthirst in their hearts and religioni know there r a few good ones keyword afew
