I have a 15 month old daughter whose father now wants to meet her and spend time with her.

you must tell your daughter alot about her father,i meant good things like how he looks like,his complexion,his height,his hobbies,his do's and dont and more wonderful things about me.

If the child has no bond with her father, this is gonna be tough.
Just make it small visits to start with til they build a bond.
Keep the childs fav. toy in her hands while the visiting is going on.
Put cartoons on to sooth the childs anxiety cause this guy may be her father , but he is still a stranger which my scare your child.

Talk to her about him. Showing her photos also may help with the stranger anxiety once she meets him.

Tell her about her dad... and don't juss let him come and spend time with her. You need to give her time to get know him. Let him visit little by little until she feels comfortable. Let him know that he can't expect her to cling to him and call him daddy. Always supervise visits.

show her pictures tell her who he is so he wont be a stranger to her. also if you can get him on the phone let him speak to her so she might reconize his voice when she does see him. good luck.
