we both work on registers, and while hes serving he pokes his tongue out at me. lol i think its rude but still. what does it mean, if it means anything

It depends on how old you both are...if you both are under 20 it is his way of getting your attention for better or worse. If he is over 30 it is being immature and trying to get your attention for better or worse and if he is over 40, he is just plain creepy and needs to be reported to your manager.

It could be because he likes you and even if you say it is gross, he is getting your attentions so he sees that as positive, or, it could be he just likes getting a rise out you, which is his goal and gets your attention which he sees as positive.

If you think it is because he like you (or you like him) then you could tell him there are better ways to get your attention and then name something positive he could do. If you don't like him or you think he is doing it just to annoy you, ignore him...once he doesn't get any attention for the behavior, it will eventually cease to entertain him and he is either likely to stop it, or move on to a new target .
