I would rather hear from a guy that it is over instead of hearing it from his friends or other people that you are just toying around with me. Don't mess around with it, either, just tell her that you don't feel emotionally tied to her anymore because you are a changing person, and that you are finding out who you are by who you date. She will have a much better time dealing with your loss this way than if it gets to be a messy break up like "I heard this or that, etc. "
Be honest to her, believe me she will appreciate it, and who knows, she might have asked the same question on how to dump a boy who just seems to be too clingy because of her situation....??

There is no getting around it. If they've been together for that long, he is sure to break her heart, no matter how tough she seems (with her black belt and all). Telling it to her straight is the most manly thing to do, he may even end up being friends with her. Of course, he should expect being asked 7,000 questions so he had better be ready with good answers. A simple "I fell out of love" won't cut it so the explanation has to be detailed, when exactly what happened, who possibly has caused the drift (third party?), etc. Sugarcoat if he has to, but be totally honest. Filipinas have a keen nose for liars. If they have absolutely no chance of seeing each other again, the easiest (and the jerkiest) way is disappearing into thin air. He avoids confrontation this way, and a possibility of a slight (or severe) injury. Again, they must never meet again after, or else he might as well have moved to the netherworld if they ever cross paths in the future.

No way out I'm afraid!! She's going to hurt, but worry about your happiness first. If you don't want to be there then go. Let her heal and find someone who feels the same about her. Likewise you need to be where you want to be and not feel chained just because you dont want to hurt her. I was dumped by a guy and looking back it was the best thing that happened to me. He stayed too long just cuz he didnt want to hurt me and ended up cheating cuz he was unhappy. I dont blame him. I stayed too long with someone after that just because I couldn't hurt the fragile creature. I say be happy and leave her.

I've done that alot. you have two choices. Either make her fall out of love with you by being unloveable, which I don't recommend, or tell her the "we're too young and I can't be committed this long" thing.
In the long run she will only get more attached. the sooner the better in these situations, for you and her.

The longer you wait, more you are gonna hurt her. Do it in a fashion where she won't be surprised. Just say something like, "You are a great girlfriend but I need to be alone right now..." That one's always good. Or just say, "You need some time alone or some space." Good luck

There is no easy way, just break it off and stop all contact or she might think there is a chance for you to be together. The longer you wait the harder the situation will become....

It’s impossible not to hurt her, but the sooner you do it the better. How did you get to stay with someone you don’t love? Anyways, please tell her exactly how you feel, so she can find someone who will love her.
