Smoke , cola , very cold drinks , very hot food , sweets , alcohol ....etc..etc . But do peopl today realy live with their original teeth ?

Sure they do Brush, floss rinse after every meal if possible with only water. Funny I saw my dentist getting ito his car and lighting up a cigarette. Rinsing will wash some of the sugar away. You can live with original teeth not saying there will never be root canals and crowns needed. Rinse after drinking and eating anything that contains sugar..

I am 38 and have all my teeth including my wisdom teeth. I had 3 fillings over 20 years ago and other than that my dentist says there is no reason mine shouldn't last all my life, I smoke, drink occasionally and eat sweets. However I brush and floss regularly and chew sugarless gum after meals, don't know if the sugarless gum helps but sure doesn't seem to hurt. Also have read that chewing sugarless gum after meals has been proven to remove some of the plaque acids that cause decay.
