They started making coca cola in the 1850s or1860s.they have a hidden formula(hush-hush)that is patented,however 2 of the ingredients were originally (1) caramel, (2) soda water.There exist a cite named Snopes.com that has a world of knowledge offered free

I read once in (I think it was) consumer reports magazine that a taster determined that coca cola flavoring had "pine undertones" and pepsi had "citrus undertones"....sounded like it had pine trees in it??? I don't know..

Here is my link list for copycat recipes, you might find it there, but I doubt that many people want to make cola from scratch, since you have to buy carbonated water, which costs almost as much as coke.

basically it is just water, carbon dioxide and lots of falvourings and chemicals. the chemicals can affect some people, though for most it just makes it taste so nice that u become addicted to it

It has caffeine, but its not any more addicting than a cup of coffee. coke has LESS caffeine.
