In Christianity, God for-told of the pains and sufferings that his son would have to go through so that believers could be forgiven of their sins. When God sent his son, it was as part of himself , not just a prophet.
Jesus did not marry a woman and live on to preach that only his religion should remain and that his believers should fight until only their faith remained unlike the prophet Mohamed who married and did.
In other words Christianity is the religion of peace even though throughout history, greedy men have used it as an excuse for fighting. Jesus told us to Love your neighbor as yourself.
Mohamed told his followers to fight until only believers of Islam are left and in doing so, negates all other claims that Islam is the religion of peace.
The God of Christianity advocates peace, love and turning the other cheek. The god of Islam advocates killing infidels, stoning and an eye for an eye.
I'll stick with the True GOD!

There are no differences in the two gods. They are both descendants of Jehovah. Both prophets (Jesus and Mohammad) are direct descendants of Abraham (Ibrahim). The old testament is common to Judaism Islam and Christianity. They were all born in the Middle East. Where they differ is in the interpretation and application of the scriptures. Actually we are not followers of god but followers of the messengers of god. So we go for Jesus and they go for Mohammad. So Christianity is god according to Jesus Christ (the anointed) and Islam is god according to Mohammad.

The God is one.
The "God" Allah of Islam and Christianity is not different. Islam certify the old religion, and books, But Islam is the last religion of the old religions. This has improved and final shape of Religion. While the old Books had modified by their followers.
Islam is not teach to fight. but teach to forgive, please see that conquest of Macca, when Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam enter in Macca as conqueror, they forgave their enemies.

Many Christians accept the Muslim claim that we both worship the same God. They claim that they call him Allah, while we call him God. It is not unusual to hear Christian leaders make such statements. Bible societies have even gone so far as to use the name Allah in the Bibles they produce for Arab Christians.
The problem with this is two-fold. First, history and archeology show clearly that Allah was worshipped as a pagan moon god long before Mohammed came on the scene. Robert Morey, author of The Islamic Invasion, explains:
"Islam's origins have been traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god which was always the dominant religion of Arabia. The moon god was worshipped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of the moon god, running around the Kabah seven times, caressing an idol of a black stone set in the wall of the Kabah, running between two hills, making animal sacrifices, gathering on Fridays for prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc. These were pagan rites practiced by the Arabs long before Muhammad was born."
"What religion today practices the pagan rites of the moon god? Islam! This explains why the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam. It is placed on top of mosques and minarets and displayed on hats, flags, rugs, amulets and even jewelry. Every time you see the Muslim symbol of a crescent moon, you are seeing the ancient symbol of the moon god."
Second, if you read the Qur'an's description of Allah, and read the Bible's description of God, it becomes obvious you are reading about two different persons. Allah orders his followers to kill those who deny Islam, while God instructs us to love our enemies. Allah had no son while God sent His Son to die for sinful men. Allah is "unknowable" while God seeks a personal relationship with His creation, man.
The spirit behind Islam is an entirely different spirit... a spirit that denies the deity of Jesus Christ. Any Christian who accepts the notion that Allah is God creates an impossible situation. Since the Qur'an contains our only revelation about Allah, they will be forced to look there as their authority. The Qur'an specifically denies the deity of Christ! All Christian witness ends right there.

it's the same god. different religions. Allah is just another word for "god", just in a different language (Arabic). Christianity and Islam are actually very similar.

God in Islam is ONE, and God in Christianity is three,
The Holy Qur'an
{O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.}

In ALL other religions, man approaches God and constantly tries to achieve a certain status to achieve salvation with his God.( in other words man has to earn his salvation) In Christianity, God approaches man, through Christ and is 'given' his salvation through the grace and blood of Christ.
