Meeting someone from the internet is fine, as long as you take the usual precautions.
First, as you're from different countries, expect him to travel to you. He's richer, and he's the guy.
Second, presumably he won't be visiting you and going home the same day, so find a reasonably priced B&B near you for him to stay. Don't let him stay at yours and don't stay at the B&B with him.
Meet in a public place, preferably with a friend nearby
Finally, meeting people from the internet can be fine. I've met several people from the internet, and I've been fine. One has now been my girlfriend for 14 months, and one of us travels the 4-5 hours to meet every couple of weeks.
Take the precautions and you should be fine. Good luck.

i know aht you are worried about. You probably think he is a geek or a wierdo but ont he other hand he could just be an adventorous guy who like to make new friends. As much I would advise you to meet him don't put your hopes too high. The mental picture that you have of this guy may dissapoint you. Just minute in an open area and don't tell him of any personal details that you may regret in future. Let him in yor house after a few dates.
All the best

Why not? Do u meet people on the streets? I guess the questions u ask, u can only answer it urself. Wld u like to have along distance relationship if he lives in a different country? My advise is, just take it slow, meet in public places and see how things goes along the way. You can meet someone on the streets and if he wanna cheat u, he still wld...so it doesn't matter where u meet a person...there are sincere person on the net too.

Go with your gut instinct with this one hun. Relationships are hard enough work without the added stress of your partner being in another country if you get romantically involved. Depending on where - if hes just a short plane journey away and you both can afford to fly to see each other a few times a month - and the elaborate phone bills etc - then yes it is possible - but if not - then I wouldnt go meet him .

Lemme guess... you're fat and he's from India. Am I close?
If you're an american, he just wants a way to get into the US. If he's an american, then he just wants you for sex.
That's an over-simplification, but it's a good rule of thumb. If you've known him for more than 6 months then it might be worth the risk, but meet him with friends if possible. I think it should be a year or more before meeting someone from overseas (Canada not included).
One more thing. Always use protection.

Well i dont know if long distance like that would work period so i dont even know if you should even bother. But its daymn sure nothing wrong to date off net as long as you precautious.
Few things before you do so:
1) make sure he have a lot of pictures and they dont look some pics that would belong to someone else or a model off magazine. also important that you check his both legs same lenght, his eyez are not crossed, his ears are not crooked, his teeth are not double row, etc. basically if you dont like something about someone then make sure your net date dont have that by str8 up asking him. you dont have to make him uncomfortable but you can throw a lil excuse like u dont want to have bad experience and you appreciate honesty.
2) make sure he is not pressuring you, that to meet up is mutual idea.
3) its good to talk to someone over the phone before you meet to make sure you can put face and voice together.
4) make sure if you do meet ...its in a neutral area. not in a middle of woods, but in a city where a lot of people are there. definitely not yours or his place. leave that for 2nd or 3rd date when you definitely seen him from all angles
5) last but not least Good Luck!

DEFINITELY not, hun! It may seem perfectly reasonable online, but Im sure you know how easy it is to lie, or say stuff you dont mean, especially when its not face-to-face. For all you know, he could be a pervy 50 yr old who just wants you for what he can get, or he could equally be a geeky 16 yr old with nothing better to do than prove to his friends he met up with a n18 yr old from online, or, even a transvestite prostitiute to take you to their brothel in Istanbul! No joke, its happened in the past. You dont know how many other people could be with them, too. Or he could be who he says he is as far as age name and place, but are you sure he is as genuine? If I were you, hun, I would let him be, and stick with people you know.
much love and hugs
xXx

There's nothing wrong with it. Just remember that it's quite easy to become friends online and to make it work in 'real life' is completely different. If both of you are prepared to make any sacrifices that may be needed i.e. lots of travelling, then there's nothing to stop you. If you have any doubts, then I would advise that you remain online friends and not risk fuelling your friendship with false hope.

No No No!! They could be lying you will never know who they could be. If you can't resist and feel you have to meet up with them meet them somewhere where everyone knows you and can see you( a public place), take a friend, just dont go on your own or go to their house use your common sense. Good Luck
