Yes. First visit a doctor to make sure there is no health reason you are losing hair. Many illnesses including thyroid imbalance cause hair to fall out. If you determine that hair loss is caused by stress use a gentle shampoo & don't shampoo as often.

The good news is if you can alleviate the stress, your hair should grow back and be just fine. If you are dealing with difficult issues I recommend a counselor to help you.

Best of luck to you

yes, stress can cause your hair to fall out. i had a nervous breakdown a few years ago, and i lost about half of my hair. i was lucky - it grew back. i'd have to disagree with Robin's statement on this - sometimes the hair does not grow back. i did a lot of of research on the subject at the time. the thing that bothered me more than anything though was some people's attitudes towards me when i lost my hair. i was treated like i had some kind of nasty infectious disease. some people can be very hurtful and narrow minded.

Yes, it is likely to grow thin, and fal out with worry and stress. In worst cases there is Alopecia when hair falls out in large quantities.
Otherwise depending on age, there is male pattern baldness which happens as men get older, have a look at your father or older brothers and you might get an indication what will happen.

yes, it can. just like it takes lesser muscles to smile(hence, it prevents wrinkles), stress and worry can make your hair fall out. but do check with a doctor to see if there are ways in which you are able to get rid of it. the next best thing will just be to meditate or pick up a sport/hobby, something which you are able to do to release your stress. :) happy de-stressing!

Yes, unfortunately so. I was recommended to gently massage the worst affected areas which improves the circulation and therefore aids regrowth. When you're under stress your body concentrates all its efforts on keeping your body on track. Whilst doing so, the circulation to the extremities decreases, hence why you often feel cold. Concentrate on relaxation and hopefully your hair will return.

It sure can. Start taking a multivitamin tablet each day. Wash hair often and keep your scalp moist with a little Vaseline.
Good luck.
