Can someone explain how the christian religion is supposed to be spread? That means if all christians were religios this will be the last generation we see? Religion is a way of life and not supposed to be shut and seggregated like this. One should pass on your knowledge and not keep it to yourself. What do you think?

Ah, but not all are called to enter such a religious order. It is generally believed that the life of Christian SHOULD be about their family, and spreading the word of God. Very few are called to enter a religious order that requires Celibacy - it's not a common thing in the Church.

Also, you will often find that nuns have children. This is because many enter the Convent after having children, or after their partner has passed away, to live out the rest of their life in dedication to God.

Hope this helps! :oD

Sorry I think you are mixed up. Catholic is not Christianity.

The bible never enforces singlehood.

1Co 7:26 I suppose therefore that this is good because of the present distress--that it is good for a man to remain as he is:

A lot of people who are mis-informed usually like to talk about Apostle Paul talking about staying single but it is because he said he chose that kind of life and that at that time because a lot of Christians are hunted down (present distress), so it's also a good idea those guys don't marry so as to not make widows out of the Christian Sisters.

God is for marriage. He advocated it in Genesis. The Jews even have a marriage supper. The typology of the Church being married to Christ was often used.

So please don't remain uninformed and assume that Christianity is a religion that forbids marriage and child bearing. If any Christians chose that kind of life, it's their choice. What do you think?

Catholic priests and nuns devote themselves entirely to their beliefs and relationship with God, and feel that having emotional or sexual relationships with other people would prevent them from experiencing the closeness with God that they seek. We often allow the idea of love and sex to take over our minds completely, so much that it clouds our judgement and our ability to concentrate on anything else. This goes for everyone, not just Christians. The Bible never says that believers should not marry and procreate. Men and women are encouraged to seek out fellow believers and raise their children to believe in the same fashion. In fact, it never says that its leaders should not. Some people, even those who are not religious leaders, make the personal choice to be single and obstain from relationships to focus on their beliefs. This idea is simply encouraged by the Catholic Church because they think it will make their leaders more effective.

Priests cannot marry only in the catholic church. In all the others, catholic, protestant, they can marry. Nuns and monks cannot marry, because being a monk or a nun means giving up this world and renouncing its temptations (like having sex). As for how the faith spreads: it doesn't spread by having children. The word is preached to the people and that's how it spreads

easy if a nun or priest married they could not concentrate they job as a preacher. They job will be disturbed by they family matter. If a priest or non married people will gossip that money that should go to the church end up to his family "there go our money to the priest wife. In my country a priest wage is only 50 US dollar and for nuns is 30 US Dollar

This is just one example of the changes made in the true doctrine of Christ by the Catholic Church. Christ did not appoint nuns and priests. He appointed Apostles and Prophets. No where does the Bible say that the leaders of the Church were not to marry. Every Prophet God appointed was married. (or most)
Are you aware of the fact that the New Testament itself gives proof that Jesus was indeed MARRIED! Jesus taught in the synagogue. Only Married men are allowed to teach in the synagogue according to Jewish law!

You are right, how can they contradict life in a manner they bore from? They lead lives dedicated to the Lord, and assist in helping the human race, off course not all religious men and women choose this, some are married, it is freedom of the individuals choice and up to him or her to decide how they choose to live it.

That only applies to Priests and Nuns. Christians can reproduce.

That idea about christianity is false. Paul said that there is no wrong to get married. He said it is right to get married, but it is better not to marry because of all the troubles within marriage you may face. But the bible also teaches that it is sin to have sex outside/before marriage and the bible encourages for those who are married to have sex.

i think u r confused. nuns and monks take vows of not having sex+children and dedicate themselves to GOd. Not all Christians do that...believing is other than becoming a priest or whatever. Priests and monks and nuns are the ones who spread religion to others and VOILA! we have believers!
