Not worth risking for a $1 or less can of tuna . And if it did, you'll be very sick . Bacteria multiplies on fish at the highest rate possible .

Metal in the microwave? Toss that can of tuna out, why take chances with some kind of food poisoning? Metal isn't good for the microwave.

Probably not. That's how canned food is cooked.....in the can. But why risk it for the price of a can of tuna? You do know you should never oven cook or zap unopened cans don't you? Then it would go off....literally, by exploding.

#edit# You did say ON the micro, not IN the micro, didn't you???

first open your m.oven, VERY VERY GENTLY, if the can has NOT ALREADY blown up!! it just could do that if it gets shaken?!
p.s. feed tuna to cat, play it safe!! normally tuna has been cooked in the can BUT!! just play safe this time

Unless the can seems to 'bulge up' at the top, then most likely not ... but then again..where would it go!

did ya know you can tune a piano, but not a fish...?
