Actually, Pontius Pilate is a saint in the Ethiopian Orthodox church.

Longinus, the soldier who pierced Christ's side with a spear is an Eastern Orthodox saint. I don't recall all the others who wound up on the plus side somewhere.

God would treat them the same as every one else unless they accepted Jesus was the saviour they would go to hell.
