It looks like a whitehead, and when I squeeze it puss-like stuff comes out (the same type stuff that comes out when you squeeze a whitehead). And I would assume it's a whitehead, except it has been there for 11 years. I have been meaning to ask my doctor, but it doesn't bother, it doesn't hurt, and I always forget about it.
I called my mom and asked her what it might be, and she said it could be a whitehead, and that I am just not getting the head out. But I SWEAR...the 'head' has come out many, many times.
Does anyone have any idea what this is?

That sounds like a whitehead, but I've never heard of a whitehead being so persistent it lasted for 11 years. Once you squeeze the puss out, it should be gone for good after a few days.

Check with a dermatologist.

Hi - It sounds like either a cyst or a calcium deposit. My older son often gets calcium deposits and they are like whiteheads except (and this sounds gross) the puss is firmer. A cyst can keep recurring after it is popped, but can also be a precurser to melanoma (skin cancer) so your best bet would be to ask your doc next time you're in. Take care.

My father-in-law has the same thing you are describing but on his back. He got it surgically removed only because he wanted to because it wasn't anything to worry about and it didn't bother him either. The only thing that bothered him was the sight of it. Good luck!

If you have had it this long its probably a cyst, but go to your doctor and have it seen to. They can become infected and believe me its not very nice.

It may be a cyst that needs to be cut out.
