Well, it definitely has Freeview built-in (see spec sheet in the link above).
Are you sure you can actually receive Freeview where you live? About 25% of the U.K still can't get it.

if it conected ok is there a light on if so press on switch once as a light on mine means it off

Cant see in the spec that its got free view bult in
