it should be in the upper teens, and the tranny's aren't bad in the dodges unless you don't know how to use the overdrive properly. If you run with the overdrive on when you are towing you will wreck the tranny. i have 118k on mine and still no problems. Oh and if you like trucks the bad fuel milage just comes with it.

All full size trucks are getting close to the same gas mileage. Mu buddy gets 15 mpg in his Dodge Hemi. I get 16.5 mpg in my SuperCrew Ford and a co-worker gets 16 in his Toyota Tundra. All of which are 4 wheel drive. So expect 14-17 mpg normal driving. A lot less holding the pedal to the floor. I hear those Daytona's are quick ; )

I'll tell you exactly what your going to get, I have one. I average according to the computer, 13.2 mpg average. I drive 15 miles to work each day. Eight miles on back roads, 7 miles on the highway. On the back roads I run 55 mph, on the highway, as you will find out if you buy it, I run approx 80 mph because that thing is smooth at 80 mph. If I am on a trip strickly running highway at 75 mph, I get approximately 15.5 to 16 mph. Now one thing to remember which you didn't state in your question, is it regular cab or quad cab. Mine is a quad cab. And if you can actually run the speed limit, well, you have more self control than I do. I'm telling you, it runs real smooth at 80 and rpm's are below 2500. Good luck. P.S what is the badge number of that truck and is ir Go Mango or Silver. Mine is Go Mango # 06758

Depending on what year it is, right around 12 miles per gallon. Expect to use less when using the 4x4 feature.
Unless you need a truck that big for a particular reason other than just wanting a big truck, I would really suggest going with something more fuel efficient.
Take care.

Your gas mileage would depend on the year but just to let you know dodges are highly known for their tranny problems so you should probably just get a better truck . . . like a chevy!
