This is certainly news to me! I bet it is news to many who had no idea that if they lived outside of Canada for a certain number of years, including their 24th birthday, they have lost their Canadian citizenship. Apparently, many are only finding this out now as they are applying for their first-time passports! Unbelievable! I never would have dreamed this!

That's terrible! I've been Canadian for 14 years now and it's a great nation to live in. If they take it away from me, it'd be a terrible blow.

That actually began to happen back in the 1990's That is the process and are now the colony of the EC! they are now socialist and want us to jonin the bandwagon!

amazing. i did not know. personally i am US citizen but canadian by proxy (Canada right out my back door).
