What I mean is you have black people, white people, chinese/asian, hispanic and so many other races of people. Now with the first people being Adam and Eve were they both the same race or different, whether they were or weren't how did we have so many different races of people like we have today? Also, another question within the question. In the beginning it was Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel(Sons of Adam and Eve), How did the world reproduce off just Eve? She was the only female. Where they having sex with their mother or were Cain and Abel, homosexuals? Also, when the Virgin Mary had Jesus in her womb, how did he get there if she didn't have sex? How did he get there? I'm not trying to be funny at all. I believe in God, and I'm a Methodist born and raised as one. However, I'm just curious, and this is something I need to know. I'm asking and not afraid to ask either.

For one thing, its quite possible that the children of Adam of Eve could possibly have been some of all races, the Bible doesn't make this clear, but I would THINK that God would have programmed genetic diversity as an immediate byproduct of the first generations mating. Its a known fact that we still can't find the genetic area in DNA for race, so that means it can still be there, we just don't know where to look, ITS JUST THAT UNIMPORTANT as to race! So, by creating the races quickly, God would have started off quickly and made genetic diversity the important issue. Which as now imperfect humans it would be. However, being just one generation removed from Adam and Eve would have meant that the children would have been automatically born without disease or defect, since they were almost perfect. Biology says it takes 10 generations for a defect to become "permanent" in a genetic trait (to pass on), therefore, no birth defects would have been "viable" until Shem, Ham, and Japheths generation (Noah was the 10th Generation after Adam) and the 1st defects would have set in with his generation. However, it never says "where or who" the children of Noah got their wives from. I can give you their names, but that's another story, and it doesn't say anything to race. Could it be possible that each married a person of a different race and this is why AFTER the flood the earth was split amongst their descendants by Races and Nations?
WHO KNOWS? The point of the Bible is: if it were important to our souls to know, we would. And possibly one day in the future, when we meet these people, we can ask. : ) But for right now, its just nothing more than an interesting conversation and no one can know for sure.

Genesis 11
The Tower of Babel
1 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As men moved eastward, [a] they found a plain in Shina [b] and settled there.
3 They said to each other, "Come, let's make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth."
5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."
8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel [c] —because there the LORD confused the language of the whole world. From there the LORD scattered them over the face of the whole earth.
that's how we explain that now i challenge any science people to prove to me when the earth had different languages even science will tell u that man came from one central place but if that's true we would be the same all the way around and all speak the same would we not ? and also wouldn't the first men and women be inbreed even by science standards ?

well, I don't mean to be rude, but the end-all answer of the Christians is generally 'God did it'.
Supposedly, Adam and Eve started out in a 'perfect state' where even incest could not taint the human race or something. Then at some point God said 'not any more'. The logic in that? 'god did it'.
About Virgin Mary, the only thing I have to add is 'god did it'.

The original people, be they adam and eve, or the original humans in the evolutionary theory (take your pick) moved all over the earth, in some places the sun was stronger, so the children that were strongest and most well placed to have their children survive had more melanin in their skin, wider noses and so on, in other places other selective factors selected for other physilogical features.

- There are six billion people now. And it was just only 6000 years ago, the population is two...
- Adam and Eve? Cain and Abel? Incest leads to genetic disorders, we would all die out from them, hope you know that.
- Oh, the Holy Spirit stuff gave her a child without having sex. Ha!

Those are just stories to give people something to believe. The church also used to say that the earth is flat but science proved them wrong. Science has proven this story wrong too!

Maybe you should keep going on the track you are on, realize all that stuff is very illogical, and find the truth.
