I'm pretty sure they do. They did some research on this recently. Birds' brains are wired differently from mammals and they can actually sleep with half their brain awake. Dolphins can do this, too. You know when they're doing this when one eye is open and the other is closed. I believe birds need to be able to rest both half of their brain to dream, but don't quote me on that.

Yes i reckon they dream about other birds and also what tune they will be singing from the trees the next day!! Maybe the smaller birds dream about becoming bigger birds or maybe they dream about landing in a field where there is a hundred wriggling worms just waiting to be munched lol

As a dream's primary function is the functional maintenance of the brain it is likely that they dream on a fairly rudimentary level.

I'd much rather know if slugs dream.

cause they do, every living creature dreams, especially the more clever breed of birds like parrots, there more intelligent, they know more so theres more to dream about

I have handreared falcons that when the are babies will sometimes call out or move round, like flapping, during thier sleep

Yes they do,, my moves and makes weird voices while she is a sleep... i guess that means she is having nightmares :p
