You need serious medical attention for your wife. I have an acquaintence who died with a seizure. Your wife needs professional help. Seek out a doctor who specializes in seizures. Seek out a teaching hospital where there are more resources.

From what you described and the medication (though I do not believe spelled right, but oh well) is this condition seizures?
Sounds like she is a epileptic. I doubt she is unconscious for a hour probably sleeping, a seizure takes a lot out of a person. The medication has to be "played" with by the doctors to get the mix or amount right to control these. Your wife could die from these so keep all appointments with doctors. Keep her safe when having one. If you put her on her side and something in between her teeth with supervision she will not bite her tongue off. Some people live to a very old age with these. Help her to control her stress levels and stress on her body.

Take care!

You need to make an appointment to see her doctor. Her meds may need to be adjusted especially if she's been taking the same dosages for over a year. You've not said what her diagnosis is so it's hard to say whether she's even on the correct meds for her condition as some of what you've listed don't make sense for convulsive disorders. Whatever the case a follow-up appointment with her doctor is definitely in order.

I suggest doing a search for a Naturopathic Doctor in your area. A Good one may very well be able to Help her, even More than you'd guess. I got off all drugs, after having been told I could never quit them. I've gone for about 6 years off all drugs, & my seizures (grand mal) became just a small fraction of what they had been for decades!

You shouldn't be asking on here go to the doctor or specialist and ask them. Anyone on those kinds of medication must be on somekind of medical supervision. If you feel to nervous to remember what you want to ask ,write a list of questions or get your wife to and ask the doctor together. You need to understand your wifes condition and you won't learn if you don't ask,so do it!

It sounds to me like a physiological disorder, not a psychological one -- I strongly suggest you get a second opinion from a qualified medical doctor, preferably one who specializes in neurological disorders.
