I beleive you are confusing Christianity with mysticism and spiritism. God's spirit does work through people and sometimes speaks through people but not like a seance or satanic type ritual as you've described. You don't use the Holy Ghost spirit of God like it's a ouija board. The mere idea feels like blasphemy to me and is so against sound Biblical doctrine. Be careful here.
You can be led of the Spirit. The gift of prophesy is not anything like folks asking questions of one who is in the Spirit. If you don't clarify your thinking and match it up to Biblical doctrines, you will open yourself up to occultic spirits who will often mimic the true Holy Ghost of God and even do so in the name of Jesus. Don't get in over your head. Again, people do not control the Spirit of God or make demands to Him or give orders or ask vain questions. Most answers are already in the Bible and God talks to each of our hearts and especially when we are praying.
Without being present I would judge this matter as being of the wrong spirit because it disagrees with God's Word on how things should be done decently and in order in the church concerning spiritual gifts, etc. unless your description is incorrect.

GOD is not a limited entity, which can fit into anyone's body. Imagine the whole universe rolling into the body of one man, is it possible? God is too vast for such things.
But yes, there are many spirits around us, and these do enter human's bodies. Some are good spirits, and others are not. Sometimes you come to know that a person is overtaken by a spriti, sometimes you don't.
In India there are many cases of female deity spirits coming upon women - in such cases, puny women become so strong, that even four men cannot hold one woman.
They can answer questions because they have access to the infinite knowledge that exists in the universe, which we cannot access because our beliefs limit us.

God the Holy Spirit lives in believers in Jesus Christ, he is the Comforter and he never leaves us, although sin can cause us to lose the sense of his presence.
The ritual your describing is when a devil, an evil spirit, enters a person and possesses them for a short time. It's devil worship and it's purpose is to cause people to rely on the devil and on man rather than God.

WEll, I wouldn't believe it. It is just like saying that when there is something wrong with the radio, it's creator has to become a radio to repair the radio
N u r talking about GOD here. God who is holy. free of all sins. n a man or a woman, no matter how saintly they are must have comitted some sort of sin right??? no body is perfect. so, how can god enter into something which in not pure?????

God's Spirit lives in me - and ever Believer - He guides and directs me - and yes He speaks through prophets and still performs miracles. However, what you are describing is not God but demonic - I had been involved in similar activities when I was young - AVOID ANYTHING LIKE THAT

That is an old way of thinking.
Each of us has a spark of the Creator within us. It is those that can find this spark within that makes people think that God has entered only that person . A big mistake in thinking.
In Paganism and Christianity it that says . If you cannot find me within yourself . You will not find me without.

I don't believe in this.
I don't think God speaks through people like that.
Well, I don't actually believe in A God anyway
I am a bit worried that gwhiz1052 believe daemons have more power than a god . . .

If I were to believe in God I would say 'he' must always be in our bodies. How to awaken this aspect of yourself seems to be the real question if you're a theist.
