????

1)I don't agree: I'm in this section and I'm not looking for 'God' as I believe there isn't any.

2) hear 'whom'??? For your information, I read the whole Bible, since I've been studying it (as well as other ancient texts too) for many years, and I must say that NONE of the sections of the Bible impressed me much or convinced me that the story told there is an original one; as in facts it is not since it's a re-make, a re-collection (pretty unprecise must say) of much much older Sumerian texts which DO actually tell the REAL STORY. Peace.

I think you are right. They are searching for God.
A fool is someone without understanding. That applies to folks who are ever learning (they have plenty of worldly knowledge) but never coming to the knowledge of the truth (the truth about God and Jesus Christ and His work on the Cross). So, in the proper context, rightfully divided, yes it is true and should not be insulting but hopefully get their attention so you can get the good news to them. It takes the spirit to quicken the message to their hearts. We should all pray not only for spiritual wisdom but also that their foolish hearts will find the light and their blinded eyes will be opened. God turned Saul around on the road to Damascus and all things are possible through prayer, fasting, faith, love, hope, and the Spirit working together!
I might add that those verses aren't offensive to those who believe God is and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him! I hope and pray they are not just mockers and blasphemers but that they are true seekers.

I don't believe that any chapter can describe God. God is far too vast to be captured in any book.

And I certainly do not believe that God 'spoke'. Those who achieve the state of Godliness by constant meditation and self searching are often regarded as Gods or messengers of Gods. Whatever they say is noted down and propagated as the word of God. That is why there are so many religions.

Don't read any books, just turn within and search yourself. You will realise that there is no God to find, because you are part of God.

I don't see how insulting someone helps in their search for Jesus. It's by our example that people become interested or disinterested in Christ. If all you do is call people "fools" you would be better off not saying anything & just praying.

Some of the people on this blog seem to be lost, especially if all they do is waste their time insulting others. Christians need to ignore stupid posts & pray for others, because it doesn't matter what we say, without God we can do nothing to help.

I am searching for God, but not for the reasons most seem to think. Not only did I read the chapter, I read the whole book. I read somewhere that you have to hate God before you can truly love Him. I'm not done hating Him yet.

Personally, I'm searching for something a little more feminine....
seriously, your believe in fantasy is a delusion the sooner you realize it the better.

Disagree. The Bible also tells us that NO ONE is seeking God, no one is seeking the real truth.
God finds you.
