Isn't anyone curious about why there are no interviews with our own soldiers in mainstream media this time?

I thought the World Wide Web meant exactly what it means. But apparently there is a line that is drawn by that is not meant to be crossed. Freedom rules!
I remember reading Vietnam Diaries online, you cannot do that anymore. Censorship is a reality. Get with the program or we find you guilty and detain you.

Fox has done some interviews. The Left-wing media want to avoid making heroes of the military. They are more interested in discouraging young people from enlisting.

speakeasy is right. There is a lot of information that the media doesn't give the public. Means to make the war look bad or to make a political person look bad (not just Bush).

Anyway, I don't care what the media says or doesn't say. Every man and woman serving in the US military is a hero in my book.

I've seen them interviewed on CNN and 60 Minutes.
I don't think there's any black out.
