Yes, if the funeral included an open casket visitation the contacts would be taken out at some point. The reason for this is because is that funeral directors put caps on the eyes and then pull the eyelids over these caps. These caps have ridges on them which ensure that the eyelids remain closed during the visitation.

I don't think so. Unless you died from murder and the Forensics team might take it out for investigation. Or in an accident that you are sent to the emergency room but you didn't make it after the operation.

usually yes-anything foreign that can be removed from the body is taken out (things such as contacts,earrings, pacemakers,etc).

unless your family members specifically request these types of things to be left in-they are removed

no, because they were afraid of the died persons and the belongings should be should not left by the persons died like superstituous beliefs....
