He is getting all the benefits of the relationship (sex, a child, a home, etc) without having to give up anything right now. You are going to have to stand up for yourself, decide that you deserve a better life for you and your child , and demand a committed partner who is there for the good and the bad OR be willing to move on.

Sounds to me like he does love you. The problem is he's acting like an over grown child. You can't make him grow up or help out with a crying baby in the middle of the night. The Q is, how much are you willing to put up with from him?

Is love enough?

Love is nature's way of telling you, "I think this guy will be around to give me and my baby food, shelter and protection."

Stay or go, it's all the same.

You'll learn to love welfare like all the other women who have replaced men with government.

when you are loved I think the person wants to spend time with you.
I believe you would not even have to question it.
