Heh...you're probably right. Some people will say (not me, just giving you an example) that the Commandments are from the Old Testament and you don't have to follow them to a T anymore. Another of the loopholes I suppose. Never quite figured all that out myself but figured I'd give you that hum dinger of an example.

Christianity is a religion just like any other, it is a man made institution to fill a human need. Now there's the true believer, who knows the truth when he/she hears or reads it, and takes pleasure in following God's commandments. For the true believer salvation is guaranteed as his/her name is in the book of life, and after being "saved" is not bound by the law which those who think they will get to heaven by it all fall short. Even one sin is punishable by eternal damnation. The "Perfect One" had to come in the flesh and pay the penalty for those that God has or will have saved. Salvation doesnt replace the flesh, only the spirit, so it is still prone to sin and rebellious against God. A mature true believer learns to tame the flesh as God chastised His children, and as He puts people through tests, like silver in fire that either melts away the impurities or destroys that which was never silver in the first place.

We aren't saved by following the law. The law is our school teacher to bring us to the point where we realize that we need our savior Jesus Christ, because we can't do anything to save ourselves. When we are saved then to go back to try and finish his work by following the law is to deny his grace for the sin which still lives in our members. We follow the law because it pleases him, not to get into heaven. It's a sign of those who love him if they follow his commandments.
The seventh day Sabbath was a type and shadow of the rest that we have in Christ. When he came and fulfilled the law he became our daily, continual rest. What does it say about the other days of the week if we only keep one day holy, when Jesus is our daily sabbath? It means that on that day we work for our salvation, which is to deny the grace of God.
9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

From my own adventure being born right into a christian family contributors that on no account went to church, I chosen to pass to Sunday college with a pal. That became the day every person went to church & no one puzzled it & it became seen to be the sabbath, so it became taken as a given. After 40 8 years & a visit to Israel my complete view of God & Messiah replaced thoroughly. without notice a large style of issues made no experience & i all started asking a large style of questions that no possible answer. So my experience began to discover the reality & in doing so i got here upon Messiah Y'shua, His Commandments, Feasts & fairs alongside with the seventh day Sabbath. All this to declare that christians actually think of they are following all 10 Commandments & its a marvel to discover they do no longer look to be which some purely can not settle for. A paradigm shift isn't undemanding & some can not or won't substitute in spite of all the evidence of their face.

You are right and anyone stating that if you fail a commandment you will go to hell is VERY wrong. Everyone lies, everyone envies everyone else. Those are just the basic rules that God said that if you try to live your life by thses rules, you will live a life pleasing to me. He KNOWS we can't live by those rules. Every person alive has coveted something of someone else's. Why else do we go out and buy things. But think about each rule in our terms, if everyone lived by those rules, religious or not, think about the effect on our society. Don't kill, don't cheat on your spouse, don't steal, don't lie, don't be jealous, and that's not even all of them. Thses are just the basics of how we should TRY to live life. Nowhere in the bible does it say to not break one of thses. It's a sin, just like any other sin. And the bible says Jesus was the only man to walk on earth to not sin. The rest of us have broken at least 3 or four by the time we're in kindergarten. We'd all be bound for hell if that was the case. Good thing He sent Jesus!

All are supposed to follow the Ten Commandments...all fail to keep them..all are then supposed to repent and are supposed to ask God to help them to be able to follow them.. The key is that when we try and fail, we repent..true repentance brings forgiveness and the bible says we are then clean...this is the way it will be until He comes..
As for the 4th commandment about the sabbath....most will not keep it..they will follow mans teachings on that. They will also choose to follow todays christian teachings that the Commandments are done away with..we must answer people courteously and gently to show them what scripture says..and yes..there are many many people who claim they are christians who constantly tell people "if u don't do this or that you are going to hell".....only God knows everyones heart..only God knows where we will go.
God Bless.

The Law is a curse. It is a harsh schoolmaster that is there to SHOW us that we can not do "MY WAY."
Jesus Christ is the answer, He is the solution, He is the doorway, He is the ONLY way we wretched sinners are getting to Heaven.
The Law and specifically the 10 commandments are there to prove to us that we cannot be "good" enough for Heaven, and I use them to show people that. But the answer is always JESUS CHRIST.
Should we follow the 10 commandments? Yes, of course we should, and I try to everyday. But following the 10 commandments or not following them isn't what is going to get you into Heaven or not.
Yes, the Old Testament is a beautiful "picture" of New Testament truths, and a lot of old Hebrew law we no longer have to follow. It is not hypocrisy, it is the new covenant that was founded when Christ came to earth.
So for us today, Christ is our "Sabbath." There is no "work" we can do, and we must "rest" in Him and Him alone.
Don't make excuses not to believe.

Hell simply means the grave. Sorry but one day you will go to hell, just as I will. I don't claim to go to heaven either, because that is for only 144,000. But I do have the hopes of living forever right here on earth, just as God had it planned in the beginning. Don't take it to harsh when they tell you that you are going to their torment of hell, they know not what they do, only repeating what they have been taught in their church.

I have never seen any one give that answer but you are right that we can not keep the 10 commandment perfectly and that is why the Jews had to make sacrifice for sin and why Jesus came and died for our sin.
