There is loads to do!
You can go to a whole range of temples the best of which(I think) is the Emerald Buddah (Wat Phra Kaew) and the Temple of the Dawn (Wat Arun) which is the largest temple in Thailand.
Of course these are all within the grounds of the fabulous Grand Palace, an absolute must see!!
You've got the floating market - which is totally unique!
There's Khao San road a really notorious area, but again a bit of a must see, just hold onto your wallet!
The nightlife is fantastic with everything from go-go dancers to Jazz clubs to ladyboys and everything in between.
YOu can even try a bit of thai boxing!
There is something for every taste and budget here and really all I can say is you'll have a great time!

There are enough varieties for you to do things in Bangkok: shopping, river cruising, temple visits, mnument visits, cultural sgows, animal shows, theme parks, etc and these in one province of Bangkok. if you want to have a great trip and make some serious money at the same time in bangkok, then go to the poorest parts and you can buy young children and sell them to the arab states...

Shopping is one of the things you can do in Bangkok.
And if you are willing to travel a bit further to the little islands, you can try the relaxing spa resorts available there.

Go to Cambodia and see Angkor Wat.
Shopping isn't an option - good quality is more expensive than in your home country.
