I have lived here for 28 years coming from the U.K., it is not as everyone see 's it...Freedom of speech? No such thing....You can molest children, rape women, and just about get away with it, but God forbid if you write a bad check, and not pay traffic fines you ARE going to jail...I am not writing this on personal experience, And I am not writing, it to bash America...I have to live here, but hope to go home one day.....Please dont send me messages telling me to go home...have a nice day......I am ONLY answering the question...

JULIE C has got it right. Things here are MESSED up.
Yet if you are coming from latin america, cuba, mexico, puerto rico, costa rico, of course it looks good - it's better.
but not the best anymore...
people are dying for a 'freedom' that wasn't the same as it was 50 years ago. It's very sad.
