i like this girl for a while now, but ive never really talked to her.
valentines day is coming up. i was wondering, if i sat down with her and expressed my feelings towards her very sincerly. how big would my chance be.
i mean in % wise

I would say that if you went and unloaded your feelings on her, your chances would be about 0.01 %. I'm not kidding either. Telling a girl (especially one who you've never really talked to) how you feel is about the fastest way to make her NOT like you, even if she likes you at the start. What you need to do instead is ask her out on a date. THEN, your chances go up to about 10%. If she likes you, she will respond well to that approach. But if you're still in high school, I don't know how easily you will be able to take a girl out on a date. That's yet another reason why dating in high school is generally a bad idea. One more bit of advice . . . chit-chat with her and try to get her phone number first. If she responds well to all of this interaction with you (pay careful attention to her as you two talk), then ask her out on a date during a short phone conversation. Instead, invite her to join you in doing something YOU enjoy doing.

Even better, figure out some sort of ambiguous approach that she can't ignore and can't figure out. Like give her a Valentine's Card with someone else's name on it... and leave before she has a chance to read it. Then don't answer her phone calls until the day of whatever you have planned. Then call her back and say, "I know you've been thinking of me... let's go grab a burger."

When she brings up the "wrong name" bit, say, "Yeah. I know. Didn't you know I knew?"

Man, atleast get to know her b4 you start to express your feeling for her! But if you did say what you wanted her to hear, atleast you would know either way if she was into you! Kinda depends what you want I guess, if she drives you crazy spill it and atleast you will know. If you are willing to chill for a while, and play it a bit slower then do that(it's better than creeping her into an awnser which will probably be no if you are too fast)

unless she has been eying you like you her, I'd say you chance would be 0%. Why don't you try talking to her and getting to know her. Be friendly and chat and see where that takes you. Don't go do something creepy like just telling her you like her. That will scare her away. Whatever you do just don't tell her that right after.
