talani is a religion,i have an israelian friend who is talmani,but i dont know what is that.

a) I think you mean 'Taimani' which means he's got Yemen ancestors (it's not a religion it's the ethnic roots)

b) it's 'israeli' not 'israelian'....

point of information:
the talmud, or gemara, is NOT the first 5 books of the bible. That is the Torah. The Talmud is the oral law of the Jews, written down and finalized around 500-600 CE. It is written in aramaic and hebrew with a little greek thrown in. It was mostly composed in babylon.

I think you mean Talmud. It is the first 4 or 5 books of the Bible. This really means that they are Jewish, which them being from Israel, is most likely. Excuse me if I spell it wrong, my Hebrew is a little off. :) The Talmud means learning.
