OK,I need a bit of info regarding drinking age aboard airplane flights operated by commercial airlines.

As I'm taking Singapore Airlines(SIA),may I know what's the minimum age for drinking alcohol on board a SIA flight...I was thinking that it's 18 years old

maybe you can post answers about other airlines too

It would revert to whatever the drinking age is of the country that owns the airline. Techincally when you are in international airspace there is no drinking age, but the airlines will always set the drinking age at the country it is based in . If Singapore is 18, then you would need to be 18 to drink on that flight. One thing I can tell you is that they are not always that strict about it. I remember when I was right around 21 , I could order drinks on US airlines and they almost never asked for ID.

I believe it is the same as the legal drinking age of the country you are departing from, but I'm not sure. It might be the the same drinking age of the country of the airline operating the flight. However, I have never seen a flight attendant check anyone's ID. So my guess is that they will probably serve you (unless you're already drunk, haha).

Unfortunately, though, in the unlikely event they do card you... you can't use the excuse "oops I must have forgotten my ID" since you need the ID to board the plane.... hahaha

21 means 21 if it's a US owned and operated flight. Some smaller airlines who don't fly to the us have 18 as the alcohol age. I'd check with the individual airline to be sure.

there is not any regulations adverse to ingesting earlier a flight; notwithstanding, when you're visiblly wasted then they could refuse to allow you to board. This is going for both less than and over 21. as long as ingesting is criminal to drink the position you aren't any one is going to end you from having some liquids.
