Why don't you take a little 'care package' over to her son. Put in a few comic books, a jar of Vicks, some TheraFlu, Cherry flavored cough drops....doing something nice for her son will soothe her a little bit, and next time, let's have a little more patience ---especially with a woman who has a young child.

You should not have been mad at her in the first place. She is not your girlfriend nor is she obligated to call you daily. Even if she was your girlfriend you have no right to get mad at her for not calling for two days. You are acting like a spoiled child. You did not know her kid was sick, so you should not feel bad about being upset, but you need to cut her some slack. She does not belong to you and you need to back off.

YES you should feel like a huge ******. Maybe you should have called her & asked if anything was wrong. Just cuz someone doesn't call you don't give you the right to get upset at them.

Just apologize to her and realize that people have their own life and they can't always drop everything to call you. As long as you didn't cuss her out or anything, it'll be fine. Offer to help her out with some chores around her house. I'm sure she's got tons to catch up on after helping her son through an illness.

You dont need to feel like an ******. It was just a misunderstanding. If you gave her poop after finding out about the fever then I would have to agree with your assesment. But your wouldnt do that right?

Keep in mind that the telephone works both ways: she can call you and YOU CAN CALL HER TOO! Did you call her? If you do not develop a greater interest in this woman and her child, she will probably lose interest in being your girlfriend very soon. Are you letting her do all the calling and all of the footwork in this relationship? That is not good.

That kind of thing happens....don't beat yourself up about it. Go and get a little toy for the kid.....wrap it up and include a GET WELL card. Write a note to her as well that you are sorry to have caused her further stress and to let you know if there is any way you can help. (PS....lighten up.....it is not a huge deal and you are not a jerk)

You should definitely feel like a jerk. I would apologize profusely and see if there is anything you can do to help her. Don't beat yourself up over it. It is over and done now, but just try to think a little more cautiously on things next time.
