This really sounds like a bad situation - like he may be trying to hide something. Of course, it could just be that he is embarrassed about his living conditions. He may not live in as nice of a house or apartment that he wants to be in and may think that you will think less of him because of it. Or - he could have roommates that he doesn't really like and doesn't want to subject you to them. The best way to find out would be just to ask him why he has never invited you to his house. If he cannot give you a straight answer, then you would have to think the worst unfortunately. I hope everything works out & best of luck!

He sounds married. Do you have a home phone number for this man? I think you should just come out and ask him. If the two of you have been together for almost a year then you should feel comfortable enough to ask him why he's never invited you over. He may be married, or he may live with his parents and be embarassed of his house, it could be anything. You'll never know until you ask. It's really weird, why haven't you asked?

It sounds as if he has something to hide. This is not normal behavior. If you've been together for over a year and he's not letting you into his world, you need to back out of this thing now.

More than likely he's married or involved with someone else. I hate to be negative like this, but when I'm dating someone, usually within the first three weeks they are over at my place (at least for dinner and a movie).

He sounds like he is either very married or very involved. If after a year you do not know where he lives and he has never invited you over its time to move on because obviously he is hiding something.

Or.... maybe he is homeless or ashamed of his home. I would talk to him and if that fails.. You can always play PI and follow him to find out.

Good luck to you.

It sounds to me like he is either married or involved with someone else. He could also be ashamed of his living arrangements, but that still doesn't explain why he won't sleep out. I am really considering switching teams if you know what I mean. How about yourself. wyld_dove@yahoo.ca

Several things to consider:

He might be embarrassed about where he lives
He might be married
He might be in a living-together arrangement w/another woman
If he lives w/a family member, that person may be strange or mentally ill or sick and he doesn't want to tell you that.
He could be bi and live with a gay person

Have you met his family and friends? The whole thing is very fishy. Get to the bottom of this issue now. Tell him you want to make him dinner at his place or something.

It sounds like either, he's married or he still lives with his parents. But who knows. A year is a long time.

Something is going on here. This sounds very strange, unless your relationship has been only by email, chatting, etc. Find another boyfriend...fast, before he chops you up and puts you into his freezer at home.

why don't you arrange for a taxi to pick you up the moment he leaves, then quietly follow him. you will soon know where he lives. do not stalk him, but maybe you will want to stand far down the street sometime when he may get home from work, just to see who comes to the door when he walks in. or, you may want to stand somewhere where he can't see you in the morning, just to see if children leave to go on the school bus and his wife kisses him goodbye. after that, give him a good kick in his fanny, only psychologically. you do not deserve this BS.

It sounds like you don't really have a boyfriend. Cut the ties and move on to someone who will invite you over and who will hang at your house overnight.
