Me and my wife want children, but I'm worried that the planet might not be worth living on when they grow up. The doomsday clock is the closest it has ever been too midnight. Tell me it will happen or tell me something to relax my nerves.

Nate, The doomsday clock is ticking....The Lord has the final decision in all we do.....
Nothing could be worse than you not having the family you long for....Make that family, live Nate.......The world isn't pretty and there are a hell of a lot of freaks in the world.......But I can't tell you how wonderful , or how high you will feel when you hold your first child, look at the woman you love and realize that this IS what life is all about.......
Remember , no one knows what will happen, but that shouldn't stop you from bringing into this crazy world ,the child that may find the cure for cancer, diabetes, AIDS or just be the the best kid on the block......
God bless you and your wife....Name your first son after me.

If you want to have kids then have kids. There is always something to worry about. Even if world war three was to happen tomorrow, there would still be life left on this planet. Who knows it could be the your son or daughter who is meant to be here and continue on.
There has always be reasons not to have kids, the economy is not too good, want to get a better job, time is just not right, company isn't looking too good. World war three might start.
The list goes on and on if everybody waited for the perfect time or the perfect situation there would be less then one three of todays population.
Don't let what if's stop you from having what can be. (your family)

The clock is not as close as it has ever been. In the 50s it was at 2 or 3 minutes before the stroke of midnight.
I think you'll be fine. This will work itself out over the next few years.....I hope b/c I want a family as well.

Hello! Bush is doing a world war III he is eating the planet with every one in it!
He caused 9\11 by the blood shead of arabs! oh you didn't know that?thats because he is hiding every thing from you!
He talks "s hit" to have some country join him and if he doesn't like it he startes a war on them!

Not if we close the boarders, deport illegals from every nation, bomb the Sunni Triangle, bomb north koreas launching tower, bomb the hitler of iran, impose massive tarrifs on all chinnese goods, and find a reliable source of oil.
But if you and your wife want children, do it. God said wants us to fill the earth. The best thing that you can do for God, yourselfs, your country, and the world, is to have children and raise them up to be Born Again Christains. I am. And, I don't care how crazy things get down here on earth, because when it is all over, I know that I am going home to be with my maker. There are going to be some hard times down here, that is for certain. But, none of this really matters any way. You need to have children and love them and love your wife and all of you love the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. That is good and respectible before God. You will be rewarded, it is the promise of God. You will all find yourselves in heaven one day with the all mighty God. This world is a passage to heaven or hell. You decide for yourself where you will end up. And, as the man of the family, it is your responciblity to see to it that the Lord Jesus Christ and the salvation plan he made for us is the focus of your home.

I have had a serious talk with all three of my adult children and we have discussed this very topic. Only one of the three wants to go ahead and have children. I am truly afraid for the future. World War III seems all too probable.

well here's the way i see it...
war is inevitable, it's going to happen whether its on a large scale or small, more terrorist attacks are going to occur, more people are going to get killed and that's the world we live in and we have to accept it... HOWEVER it should not stop us from living that's what terrorist want
If we continue to live our lives to the fullest and spread positive attitudes around, who knows what may happen. I say have kids and hope they live full and complete lives maybe they'll be the ones to make a difference

We already are in it. When a president says al the rest of the world is evil, and don't listen any of the international forums or the UN, and put bombs in Somalia, Aphganistán, Iraq, and many others, and make the rest of the world a battle field...

yes. the problems in the whorl shows that the next 10 year or sooner we will be engage in a terrible wore ,not political ,but a religious wore.and i hop for own shake not to be spread .USA losing his grep and the mistakes will destroyed as. do not forget china
