I was unsure of my feelings for this guy, and we didn't talk very much. It seemed like he did sort of have feelings towards me so I decided to ask him to Sadies. I asked him on Monday and the answer he gave me was that "I have to check what i'm doing this weekend and i'll let you know". Well he didn't tell me today and the dance is on Friday, I know, shame on me for asking on such short notice but whatever. I interpret his answer as a no, especially since he didn't tell me anything today, even though he clearly had many chances to. What do you think?

Move on. His loss. I haven't seen a lot of girls ask a guy out. It's usually the other way around. Any girl who has ever asked me, I have given a chance. If she'll put her self out there then she's worth a shot.

he could be holding out for better offerse. i know thats sounds mean but some guys might do that. I would move on. he had his time he didnt' answer you. why wait you could wait till the sadies dance and then he says no then what

I think you're right, the answer is probably no. Don't blame yourself. I think you gave him plenty of time really. How much notice did he need. Find another guy and go with him and have a blast.

Well it could be 'no' if he didn't get back to you today.......well unless he is really bz........ but usually no guys forgets this kind of stuff of they are really interested in a girl..... Why not remind him today?......it's either you get the answer yes or no or an excuse but at least you'll know where it's going.....

Any number of things. But my guess is he's waiting to see if someone he really wants to go with will ask him. If that person doesn't ask him then he'll go ahead and go with you.
OR............... he isn't too excited about going with you and has to think about it. Wait until Thursday and if he says nothing then he's not very nice and you shouldn't want to be with him anyway.

he could be shy, give him until the end of tomorrow and ask him if he made a descision if he wants to go with you. if he says no, go stag, you'll have more fun anyways!
