I'm 18 yrs old, 5'7 and weigh 106 lbs. I hate being this skinny because clothes just dont seem to fit right and i feel very self concsious. I've tried eating foods that are higher in fat (not junk food, whole grain foods and stuff like that). It doesnt really help much though. Is there anything else i can do? excersices maybe? I know muscle weighs more than fat but i dont wanna get muscular. Any tips?

You need to eat a lot more food. Just go nuts all the time. You will gain weight. Not just at meals. Do it throughout the day. If you need pointers, pick some fat people and hang out with them from the time they wake up until they go to sleep. Eat when they eat and eat what they eat. Getting big takes a lifetime of dedication and devotion to eating.

Light weight training and protein shakes with more fruits and veggies to keep from too much protein building up in your system, and just because they are so good for you. In the old days, docs used to tell patients who couldn't gain weight to start eating a bowl of ice cream before bed, but that isn't good for anyone. You could try adding yogurt before bed. Good luck.

Have you tried adding Ensure or some high calorie/high protein supplements to your diet?
