The reason I ask is because I'm writing a book on girls at bars. Sounds strange but I think I might have something. Who knows though. Just asking questions to as many girls as I can and though maybe I could get some good material here.

Make eye contact and say "Hi" with a smile. If he doesn't respond, I leave it alone.

Definitely eye contact, but not constantly staring...perhaps a few furtive glances with just a hint of a smile. Don't want to look desperate...just mildly curious or interested in the possibilities. Once you've made eye contact 2 or 3 times, make sure you are positioned whereby it's easy for him to walk over to you to start a conversation.

If this doesn't work, stop hanging out at bars trying to find guys you like. They know why you're there.

Be safe!

The more attracted I am to someone (anywhere, not just in bars), the more I ignore them.

If I do look at them (and trust me, I will look - if only for a moment), I keep a very straight face and look away quickly. No smiles, no signs.

So how would a guy know? (Other than maybe noticing my glance)

He doesnt.

Therefore the guy has to take his ***** in hand and make a move.

If he doesnt have the nerve or desire to do so, good. He has just weeded himself out, with no trouble to me.

A guy who is seriously attracted will find a reason to make a move, signals or no signals.

A guy who is responding to 'come hither' signals may just be looking for an ego boost or a booty call.

No thanks.

.

I take out my false teeth, stick two fingers in my mouth to whistle real loud so he can here me. I know he can't see me from that far away. Just kidding. You should try to make eye contact, and touch your hair. It makes you look approachable.

I don't go to bars but if I was in that situation, I'd probably smile or something like that.

If you catch her looking at you more than twice, she most likely has a reason to be looking at you

and lets just hope its because she thinks your cute
