Well you are in the grasp of a controlling individual who is silly, self centered and immature---taking advantage of you and you need to get away. First of all, I guess you are young and have no idea what the word LOVE really means--so stop using it. You are hooked on a guy in a relationship that is on a downward spiral. True love does not make a person feel the way you do at this time. I could tell you that communications is the key here, but I think it will be a waste of your good valuable time. Think about it and move on......you will be happier elsewhere--believe me. This guy needs to grow up and mature--or else he will have a lousy life. get moving here before you get in too deep and ruin your self esteem.

I think you should break up with him and have some time alone and away from each other! This is the way you will spend the rest of your life unless you end this now. Can you imagine what would happen if you did something he really didn't care for or what about your kids when they do something wrong then what? I would say this is a red flag for you dear!

quote: "it made me feel really bad." you're in a relationship with a guy you love, but he's making you feel bad about yourself and things between the two of you. do you honestly think that's a good thing? if you still think that your relationship is healthy, realize that the way he acts is way of controlling you and manipulating you. he's making you feel bad, he's keeping control of the situation, and as a result, he's getting what he wants. if you insist on being in a relationship with someone who treats you like this, you should at least talk to him and explain how this all makes you feel. but also understand that you said that he's not abusive. maybe he isn't physically abusive, but manipulation and belittlement is only the beginning of emotional abuse.

Sounds like he maybe going through something and don't know how to express his feeling, so anger is something that he shows to you because you are the one right there that he take what ever he is feeling out on. Talk to him ask him whats really bothering him. Its probally something that don't even have nothing to do with you. this also may sound crazy but he mite just need to smoke him one.

this guy doesn't respect you for your thoughts, ideas, desires and even your shortcomings (we all have them and each partner must respect the other's dificiencies). i know this sucks to hear but you may want to find someone who respects you. there are good guys out there and sometimes they are hard to find but rather to be alone than with in a relationship someone who cannot appreciate you for who you are and wants control so badly that he makes you feel bad about yourself.

Drop him and move on. You are worth much more than how he is treating you. If you FEEL you still want him, then be prepared to live in this fashion.
