A friend of mine told me about the nurses hands on training program that tkes about 2-4 years to fininsh. She said the first two years the hosptial trans you then the 3rd and 4th year you work for the hospital. I thought about trying it out but I just wanted to know what it was like and if it's worth the time?

Never heard of such a thing. Nursing schools are very competitive now. You should try and be a 4.0 student. Contact a local community college to get started.
