I am a borderline religious person.
I don't really know what religion is right for me, but I know that there is one out there, I know that I am not an athiest, though there is nothing wrong with atheists everyone has their own beliefs, I just don't know what I am yet.
I have recently stumbled on Messiahic Judaism, and I don't believing in coincidences, so I was wondering if people could give me some feed back on this branch of Judaism.
Maybe give me some sights on the subject.
Thank You immensly, I know that that was a lot of jibbered nonsense above, but thanks in advance.

Dear tieshantiger_
Messianic Judaism are Jewish believers in Jesus. They have realized that Jesus Christ is the Messiah prophesied about in the Old Testament. Messianic Jews are Christians. Christians are those who have received Jesus as Lord and savior.
There is a difference between a religion and a relationship with Christ. So there is a difference between being religious and being in a relationship with one who has paid the penalty for our sin.
One of the best things you can do is read and study the bible. I would start with the book of John in the New Testament, but reading and studying the bible is a necessity for anyone who wants to have a relationship with Christ.

Messianic Judaism is a branch of Judaism. It is mainly followed by Jews who believe that Jesus fulfilled the Messianic prophecies, and is therefore the Messiah. They may follow traditional Jewish customs like keeping the feasts, having a bar mitzvah, etc.

Catholicism is the true Messianic Judaism.
What passes for Messianic Judaism today is simply a late day popular movement.
If you feel the need to connect with God in a complete, historically and theologically correct manner, you can't do better than the Catholic faith, simply because the Catholic Church was personally founded by Jesus himself, who is a Jew, the Messiah, and God, and Christ remains at the head of his church, today.

This is not a branch of Judaism; it is a branch of Christianity. The theology of "Messianic Judaism" is not compatible in any way with Jewish theology. Please check it out from a Jewish point of Jew; we do not claim these people as co-religionists.

They are jewish folks that accept the Messiah Jesus as their Savior. The maintain their jewish identification but I think they are sometimes falled "fulfilled jews" or something of that nature. I'm not really well versed on that particular faith but I do consider them brothers and sisters in Christ and I believe they do me as well. The gentiles (like myself) are grafted in and now there is one body in Christ, including jews and gentiles that place their faith in Jesus Christ for their salvation.

you can't be a christian and a jew at the same time.
here is a video that explains why christianity and judaism are completely incompatible, although you can skip the first few "life story" minutes

It is designed to fool unsuspecting Jews, who would reject Christianity if it identified itself by that name.
Intellectual dishonesty at its best.
