i have THICK hair(black)! when short, it tends to poof out especially after a wash. my own oils tend to weigh it down and make it much easier to manage and i like the look but i DO like to shower EVERY day. ive been told i should grow it out longer...any other suggestions?i want something easy to manage

I would just keep it short.. and try putting some oil or gel on it.. the gel or oil should keep it in its place. My dads hair is the same way.. thats what he does. I dont like men with long hair.. i like short hair.. but its just my opinion :)

My advice, would be to buy "Murrays" for your hair, it's a little thick but you will look fine, and smell fine, or you could go with a fade, and or military cut. If you want to go drastic go bald, ouch!!!

have it thinned out while you grow it out it wont be so full. you could also have it razor cut.
