Customer Service Agents

They are collectively called 'ground staff', but when they perform check-in, it's 'check-in staff', then, when they run to the gate, they are 'gate staff'.

The one with the walkie talkie is usually the 'check-in supervisor', unless you are at the gate, in which case it's the 'dispatcher'! Some companies may give their staff other titles, but within the airport, everyone uses the same terminology.

:)

PS If you ever see British Airway's staff, the ground staff have a silver button with no wings, the cabin crew has a silver button with one wing and the flight crew has a silver button with two wings.

Front Desk Clerks/Agents, just like at a hotel. Or Customer Service Representive / Agent would be appropriate as well.

What do *I* call them? I refuse to use that kind of language on a family site such as this.
