Actually, you may be applying the Frontline a little too high in neck area. It goes between the shoulder blades and should not be near the collar area. Watch your dog's eyes for excess tearing or redness. Those drops are strong and can irritate when applied to close to the head/face.

putting a collar and walking your dog tommorrow will all OK for by then he frontline will have dissipated into the skin and the fur of the dog which it should do,frontline applied does not stay on the surface but goes into the skin and how it travels to all the parts of the dog.

You can put the collar back on any time you want. I usually put the Frontline just below the collar, more in between the shoulder blades so the collar doesn't interfer with the medication.

i am a pet groomer and have several years experience in this field and i've found that flea collars are a waste of money. they kill fleas only in the area theyn touch directly and can cause skin irritation and hair loss. don't bother with the collar front line is the way to go and is plenty of protection

You can walk him as soon as the Frontline dries. There is no specific time to wait. Let it fry on its own though, don't use a blowdryer. Hope this helps!
