There is no difference other than Caddy's use abbreviation for their models now. DTS stands for DeVille Touring Sedan. I would prefer that Cadillac used the full name of DeVille instead of using initials.

The DTS is just a higher model of the same Deville. In has more standard and available features than the base model.

I believe the DTS is a little bit more of a performance version than the plain Deville.

DTS= DeVille Touring Sedan.

It has a slightly more powerful NorthStar V8 engine tunning, touring wheels and tires, touring suspension and i think it has seating for five instead of six...it has the ability to be called a "sport sedan" because of these factory upgrades...

The DTS is my pick over any full-size sedan on the road today!

Happy hunting!
Best Wishes...

They got rid of the name "DeVille in 2006.

The new model name is DTS. Its pretty much the same except small parts, like the interior have been redesigned.
