I've heard stories about churches in Africa (Present Day) were people are being raised from the dead. What are your thoughts on that? Please consider: Is it possible? If it is true what does it mean for religion and those who don't believe? Have you looked into it at all?

I believe without a shadow of doubt, Jesus and the authority in His name is the same today, tomorrow, forever, He HAS broken the chains of death. I have seen footage of death come to life in and through the power of God. The lack of faith in operation is what I doubt!

Yes, I have spent a great deal of time reading articles and these stories. Most of these stories when you do a little research end up completely fabricated.

But what about those stories that have no evidence of fabrication?

Well these stories are rare. But they do exsist. First, I believe it is very possible that people are rasied from teh Dead. God is very powerful. God has demonstrated his ability to raise people form the dead in the Bible when people are filled with the Holy Spirit. I still have some doubt that these stories are true. But I imagine that once in awhile God may actually work in this way. But mainstream "raising from the dead' is fake.

I have the same view on "tounges." I do not believe what the American Pentacostal churches call "tounges" is authentic nor biblical. Do I believe there could be rare circumstances where he miraclously gives a messager the ability to speak in a language he never learned? Yes.

But none of this would be neccessary to verify a person's message. Because today we have the Bible. However I could see exceptions to this rule. God is powerful.

gown up Richard Simmons in neon purple leotards and make him dance the hokey-pokey on any grave and the lifeless will turn over. seersly! Jesus mentioned that "in case you merely have faith the size of a mustard seed that a majority of those issues would be occurring and that i think of theres people who've faith larger then the size of a mustard seed" So curiously human beings's faith is below a mustard seed. human beings have been utilising faith as a gadget for political effective properties. some faith leaders who're think to be greater reverend become racists or pedophiles. faith is infested with those pretenders so how can there be faith?

In Jesus' day as well as in present times there are often people who appear to die, have no pulse or other kife signs, yet suddenly, sometimes in their coffin, revive and recover, much to the shick and disbelief of their onlookers.

There is no hoispital in the country that has not had apparent "come back from the dead" cases.

So imagine how such cases would have been viewed at the time of Christ when 95% of people were illiterate and there was NO knowledge of any science.

There is only a certain amount of time after death before the physical body no longer 'works'. Without oxygen, the brain dies and cannot work anymore. I think, before this happens a person can theoretically be brought back to life, depending on any injuries they may have.

Of course, we all know that Jesus raised the dead and later the apostles had the same power. Jesus also said that if we had faith the size of a mustard seed that we could move mountains and there are people with that kind of faith. I, too, have heard of the dead being raised in our present day. Faith is the key word!

This is something that I had not heard about. Sounds interesting though. I had heard of similar things in other parts of the world, but not in several years.

People cannot be raised from the dead. If that's what they are claiming they are lying. Have you ever seen a dead person? I have, once the body starts to decompose, it is not a pretty picture.

I'm ready. I got my winchester, emergency kit. Katana sword for chopping off zombie heads. I got a plan to fortify my area when the dead rise and grow vegetables whilst I fend off hungry zombies.
